The Secrets of Winterhouse, Book 2 in the series, brings us back to Winterhouse for another Christmas holiday. This year, Elizabeth knows the truth about her family and cannot wait to return to see her dear Norbridge. She and Freddy have been corresponding over email and are looking forward to a very normal, not unusual Christmas.
However, on the bus ride over to Winterhouse, Elizabeth has an altercation with some nasty people that puts a damper on her mood. Unfortunately, it turns out those nasty people are also guests at Winterhouse and their intentions for being there are not good.
To make matters worse, Freddy has a new friend, named Elana, who is VERY pretty, and keeps asserting herself into Elizabeth and Freddy's plans. Elana also has a really strange grandmother that Elizabeth just cannot bring herself to trust.
Freddy and Elizabeth try to keep themselves far from any mysteries by working on an old Camera Obscura, but the stories of Riley S. Grainger, the riddle of The Seal of Winterhouse, and the promise of secret passages pull the two into a puzzle they cannot resist.
There will be a choice to make and the choice will affect all of Winterhouse.
I LOVE THESE BOOKS!
Readers will daydream about living at Winterhouse; exploring its many rooms, passageways, artifacts, and secrets. Winterhouse is a classic in the making.
