Miss Marple, The Complete Short Stories, By Agatha Christie
4.5 out of 5 Stars
Review by Vivien G., Library Media Ambassador, 6th Grade
Many Agatha Christie readers are familiar with (as the author referred to her as) the fluffy old Ms. Marple. She lives in a neighborhood in England where nothing exciting happens, so people invent things with gossip (nothing happens, until, of course the first book). Ms. Marple sees a lot from her garden, she is a quick thinker, and she is very smart. In this collection of short stories, Ms. Marple, her grown nephew, and his friends create a club where one person tells a small mystery they encountered. At the end, the others would go around and take their guess at who the culprit was. I gave it 4.5 stars, just because a few of the stories are kind of confusing.
