Midnight For Charlie Bone by Jenny Nimmo
5 out of 5 Stars
Review by Vivien G., Library Media Ambassador, 6th Grade
In this book by Jenny Nimmo, the main character is Charlie Bone. He lives with his mother, his two grandmothers, and his uncle. His father disappeared a long time ago, so he knows nothing about his father. Charlie's three great-aunts (not the type of people you want to bump into) are trying to get him into a school called Bloor's Academy. At Bloor's, there are three categories- art, drama, and music. You have to be really good at one of them to get in. But some people there are strange... some may be good, while others may be bad. Anyways, odd things are happening around Charlie, and he decides to bring a possessed girl who knows nothing about herself back to her real aunt. Read to find out if Charlie and his new friends succeed!
