Beautiful Brown Eyes
Described as the dirt under your shoe,
the ordinary, the dull and the boring, always unwanted.
Wished for deep blue like the sky above or the ocean beneath,
or emerald green, rich in color sparkling magnificently like a clover in autumn.
But what is not realized is that brown simply doesn’t describe them.
Under the sun they glisten, like amber and sepia against honey, flooding the wings of a delicate monarch.
They gleam like Axinite and sustain vast mystery with raw emotion.
They tell an untold tale filled with ravenous treasures.
They hold natures warm hug while glowing like a fiery flame dancing below the nights opalescent sky.
They grasp the sunset and unravel twilight.
Your eyes are anything but ordinary.
